Headache Relief Tincture

This tincture is formulated with a delicate yet effective blend of herbs to calm the nervous system and relieve pain from tension headaches and migraines.

What is a tincture? A tincture is a concentrated liquid extract made by soaking plant material in alcohol to pull out and preserve active ingredients, creating a potent solution that can be used for herbal medicine and wellness. 

Key Ingredients:

Lavender, Catnip & Chamomile: these herbs work together with mild sedative, muscle relaxing, and anti-inflammatory properties to help alleviate tension and interrupt pain receptors

White Willow Bark: This herb contains Salicin (nature's Aspirin), an active compound that works to reduce inflammation and interferes with pain transmission in the nervous system, all while being gentler on the stomach lining compared to pain medication.

Skullcap: An herb known to relieve muscle tension  in the neck, shoulders, and scalp due to it's antispasmodic properties.

Dose:

At the onset of a headache or migraine, take 2 dropperfuls immediately. If headache remains, take 1 dropperful every 2 hours if headache persists. Apply directly under the tongue for best absorption or stir into hot water, tea, or juice. If taking any medication, do your research to ensure no harmful interactions will occur from taking an herbal supplement. Do not use if pregnant or breastfeeding. Always consult your primary care provider to ensure an herbal supplement is right for you.

For children 16 and under, consult your child’s primary care physician for dosing and dilution recommendations based on your child’s age and weight.

Storage:

This tincture has a 5 year shelf life if stored away from sunlight and humidity. Always make sure the lid is properly screwed on after use, and store away from children and pets.
